Calcium
The blood level of calcium, tightly controlled by hormones (PTH and vitamin D) for bones, nerves, and muscle. Because much of it rides on albumin, results are often interpreted with albumin ("corrected calcium").
This page is general wellness education, not medical advice. Your own lab’s reference range and your clinician’s interpretation always take precedence.
