Phosphorus

A mineral that partners with calcium for bones and energy metabolism, regulated by the kidneys and parathyroid. Phosphorus and calcium are usually interpreted together, and high levels often relate to kidney function.

This page is general wellness education, not medical advice. Your own lab’s reference range and your clinician’s interpretation always take precedence.
