DHEA-Sulfate
An adrenal hormone that's a building block for sex hormones. Levels peak in early adulthood and decline steadily with age, so reference ranges are strongly age-specific. It's sometimes used to assess adrenal and hormonal balance.
This page is general wellness education, not medical advice. Your own lab’s reference range and your clinician’s interpretation always take precedence.
